Big Mac Bowl (Air Fryer “Big Mac” Meatballs)
Ritta BennaniIf you're looking for something juicy, high in protein and familiar in taste, you're in the right place. Total time to make this was 35 minutes!
Ingredients
Air Fryer Meatballs
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp italian seasoning
- 1/3 cup grated parmesan
- 1/3 cup breadcrumbs (PANKO WORKS TOO)
- parsley bunch (good amount)
- 1 egg (highly recommended for binding)
Homemade Caesar Salad
- 1/3 cup my special sauce
- 1 tbsp greek yogurt
- lemon juice
- mustard (DIJON preferred)
- 1 clove of grated garlic
- freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- splash of Worcestershire sauce
BIg Mac- Protein Style Sauce
- 1/3 cup mayo (or half mayo + half Greek yogurt)
- 1/2 cup cottage cheese
- 2 tbsp ketchup
- 1 tbsp siracha
- 1 tbsp yellow mustard
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- Black pepper to taste
Instructions
1) Make the meatball mix
In a bowl, mix together:
Ground beef + salt + paprika + garlic powder + onion powder + parmesan + breadcrumbs + egg. Mix until just combined (don’t overwork—keeps them juicy).
2) Shape
Roll into meatballs, the size of golf balls (about 1½ inches each)
If the mix feels sticky, lightly oil your hands.
3) Air fry
- Preheat air fryer to 400°F
- Add meatballs in a single layer (work in batches if needed)
- Air fry 8–10 minutes, shaking/flipping halfway
- They’re done when the inside hits 160°F (if you want to get technical)
4) Make the Ceaser dressing before adding your lettuce
5) Assemble the bowl
Lettuce base → meatballs → onions → drizzle sauce → sesame seeds if you want.
Tips
For extra “burger” flavor: add extra 1 tsp Worcestershire
No egg? Add 2–3 tbsp mayo or Greek yogurt to help bind.
Crispier outside: spray meatballs lightly with avocado oil before air frying.
Storage
- Meatballs: store in fridge up to 4 days
- Sauce: store separately up to 5 days
- Reheat meatballs in air fryer 350°F for 3–5 min
